This⬆️ is just one of the many statistics out there that make it clear that core energy coaching can yield remarkable results for professionals trying to find more balance, joy, and fulfillment in their work and lives. But before you hire someone to coach you, there are some key points to consider…

What is a Core energy coach
As a core energy coach, I specialize in helping tax and accounting professionals achieve greater balance, joy, and fulfillment in their careers. Through the practice of Core Energy Coaching™, these coaches work to identify and transform the internal thoughts, beliefs, and emotions that may be hindering success and happiness in the accounting and tax industry. By delving to the core of your challenges, they facilitate lasting change and forward momentum in your professional life. A core energy coach can assist you in elevating your energy levels, a crucial factor in how you respond to work-related situations and challenges. Higher energy levels are closely linked to positive and productive outcomes, including financial growth, heightened job satisfaction, and unlocking your full potential. Moreover, they can help you uncover your deepest passions and motivations, aligning your career goals and actions with your values and purpose.
In simple terms, this means, we create more awareness of what’s going on inside of you (your thoughts and the emotions they cause) and then help you see other options that are available. You can then choose a different approach that will help you achieve your goals. For example, you want more work-life balance. Through core energy coaching, you may create awareness about how you set, or don’t set, healthy boundaries at work. If you are a natural people pleaser and you don’t set boundaries, you may find you never have time for what’s most important to you because you’re too busy helping others! Core energy coaching can help you see different options for setting boundaries that may serve you better.
This approach is different than traditional coaching or mentorship. In traditional coaching, the focus is on the actions the client takes. Goal setting, progress steps, and accountability are all part of traditional coaching methodologies. These approaches may be effective in the short run, but may not address the underlying issues that limit the client’s success. Having a mentor who can share their wisdom and give us the keys to success is wonderful, but coaches do not rely on their own stories as a blueprint for the client. The client knows best what works for them. The coach knows best how to facilitate the coaching process and support the client without having to experience what the client has gone through. Mentor’s may not encourage people to get out of their comfort zone which can limit their growth.
What does a core energy coach really do
A core energy coach is adept at creating awareness, so you can see your true self in each situation. With acceptance of who you are truly being at that moment, you can then decide if that is the best way to accomplish your goals or choose a different approach. Being at choice gives you the power to change results and to find more balance, joy, and fulfillment in your work and life.
When you are living a more conscious life, you become less stressed and judgmental. As your core energy levels rise, you will find more creativity, innovation, and satisfaction in your work and relationships. All of this leads to more joy and fulfillment in life. Fear melts away and opportunities are everywhere. You’re in the flow!
A good core energy coach does that by:
Creating awareness of your current energy and looking at how it’s impacting different areas of your life.
Understanding what’s influencing your energy levels and to help remove those negative, draining influences that are sabotaging your energy.
Helping you set goals and hold you accountable for the changes you want to make.
At the end of working with a competent core energy coach you walk away with greater self-awareness, a powerful framework for approaching work and life, and the ability to choose how you want to show up in any situation, so you have the greatest chance of success.
For example, I helped a client overcome her fear of scarcity. She grew up in a home with a single mother who held 3 jobs to pay the bills. This instilled in her a very strong work ethic to make sure she always had enough money in life. Flash forward 25 years and you have a very successful corporate executive who prioritized working over time spent with family and friends and her own self-care. She was miserable despite her success. Her limiting belief that she didn’t have enough money was no longer serving her well, despite her financial advisor and husband telling her she had plenty. I helped her create awareness around this belief and she chose to change her thinking about what really matters in life. Today, she is the owner of a thriving business, goes to the gym 5 days a week, has lost 40 lbs., feels better physically, has more self-confidence, and spends more time with family and friends.
When to hire a coach
But how do you know when the time is right to hire a core energy coach?
Many people assume a coach is only beneficial after you’re burnt-out and overwhelmed at work. While that would be a great time to find a coach, that’s not the only time they can help.
So how do you know if it’s too early to hire a core energy coach…. or worse, too late? Consider the following.
A client who was happy with their job but knew they didn’t want to do the same thing for the next 15 years, hired me to help her explore different career paths. We explored her values and what truly brings her joy and through coaching, I was able to help her see more options for her to consider.
Another client was recently promoted to a management position. He wanted to find more clarity around the type of leader he wanted to be. Through our coaching he:
Learned the foundations of Energy Leadership™️
Identified the 6 energy influencers that affected his performance.
Learned and practiced leadership disciplines and worked toward mastery.
Created a leadership philosophy and style that was his personal success formula.

How do they typically work with clients (logistics, time frames, etc.)?
How do they handle confidentiality?
What are their expectations or policies on communication, scheduling, and payment?
What are their expectations of the client in a coaching relationship?
Qualities to look for in a core energy coach
A core energy coach will work closely with you to help you become more aware of what is holding you back from achieving more joy and fulfillment in your work and life. When that happens, it’s important to be mindful of how the coach shows up for you.
